• 5 pm: ITMAT Art & Science Shield Project Presentation:
Catch this inspiring Art-Science Residency 2024-25 presentation with founding director, Carsten Skarke, interns and mentors at Penn’s ITMAT/Institute of Translational Medicine & Therapeutics. See the ceramic Shields the scientists made integrating art into their science and learn about their process. My art will embody the science for an installation at Penn Spring 2025, Philadelphia.

• 1pm: Bioluminescence, Marine Debris & Mycelium with Iyvone Koo
Singapore & global-based artist, Iyvone Koo will be discussing her works made during her artist residency at Scripps, her new series of marine debris videos and her latest mycelium project. A perfect double feature with our 2pm Deep-Sea Presentation: Catch both of these inspiring programs!

Dr. Erik Cordes & Cordes Labs joined by local & visiting marine scientists.
